On the ground
Long sites, high-value copper, nobody around
Utility-scale solar and transmission work happens where nobody lives, which is where cellular coverage ends and where copper conductor, inverters and panels sit on the ground in quantity. It is high value, portable and easy to resell, and the nearest response is a long way off.
A trailer with a twenty-foot mast and 25× optical zoom covers far more of a linear site than any practical number of fixed cameras, and it can be repositioned as the work moves down the line. Because it generates its own power and connects over satellite, the parcel needs nothing at all.
Tucson is our longest regular haul at about three and a half hours from Payson. Short rentals that far out may carry a mobilization charge; multi-month and multi-trailer deployments generally do not. We will tell you which applies before you commit.
